SEASON TO DATE SNOW

158”

Well it might have been the first day of spring, but the mountain was skiing and riding like it’s mid-winter. Wall to wall corduroy and perfect blue skies is what was served up to us today, but don’t get too comfortable with the idea of t-shirts, and soft spring snow because winter is not giving up yet. Starting tomorrow evening and into Saturday we will see a winter system that could deliver a healthy dose of heavy snow. While we wait for winter’s return, tomorrow we will be enjoying mild temperatures in the 30’s and 2-for-$79 tickets. So make sure you grab a friend, head over to Cannon Mountain, and make it yours!

Tomorrow 6 lifts are scheduled to spin at 9 am. Groomers will be out there tonight and tomorrow morning to reface 67 trails. Expect conditions to start out firm and fast with it softening up as the day continues. Keep in mind; all glades and ungroomed trails are subject to patrol inspection so please use caution and obey all rope closures.

Be sure to check out the Trail and Lift Report for more details on grooming and trail status.

UPHILL / SKINNING TRAFFIC
The uphill skinning route is OPEN when the summit is open. A skinning ticket costs $15. Please follow Lower Ravine to Middle Ravine to Upper Ravine to the first and lowest entrance of Taft Slalom. We stop selling skinning tickets and stop permitting uphill traffic by passholders at 3pm. No matter when you purchase your ticket or start an uphill climb, if patrol encounters you during sweep after the mountain closes, you will be required to turn around and ski down. Please plan on turning around before 4pm.

TERRAIN PARKS
All 3 terrain parks are OPEN. Huckerbrook Terrain Park has beginner friendly jumps and rails. Parkway Terrain Park has an intermediate set up of jumps, rails and side hits. Tossup Terrain Park has an intermediate to advance selection of jumps and rails.

LOOKING AHEAD
Spring skiing is knocking at the back door and you know what that means, soft snow, goggle tans and spring events! Next up is 80's Day on Saturday, March 30th. Then, Tug-Of-War on Saturday, April 6th and last but certainly not least Blizzard Splash Pond on Saturday, April 13th.

Some dates to keep in mind; The Aerial Tramway runs normal schedule through Monday, March 18th but will reopen for a final weekend March 23-24 and the Cafe 4,080 and summit facilities will still be open that weekend as well. The Brookside Triple will operate on the weekends until Sunday, March 24th.
