SEASON TO DATE SNOW
We picked up 1-2 inches of new snow overnight at mid-mountain and the summit and a dusting down here at the base. We've got a gusty NW breeze this morning so the snow will blow around a bit - you'll also want to check back closer to opening bell to make sure no lifts are on wind hold. Temps stayed just cool enough yesterday for most of the slopes to stay in a packed powdery condition so if the winds stay agreeable, it should be an excellent day to make turns at Cannon. If you're just deciding to come shred Cannon, make sure you purchase your ticket in advance right here: Get Lift Tickets - plenty of tickets are available for 2/25.
For Thursday, you can expect 92 trails and glades accessible by 7 lifts which spin at 9:00am. More glades and natural snow trails have reopened including the bottom section of DJ's Tramline from the access point on Jasper's Hideaway. Please use caution and stay on open trails only.
Terrain Parks: The terrain park on Lower Cannon has reopened with 8 medium-large features and more to be added. Huckerbrook Park will also be open with small features!
The main park will be closed on Friday from 11:30 - 2pm for a competition.
Please Note: Thursday, there will be race training will be in progress on Taft Training Slope and Lower Baron’s Run.
See Lift Ticket Information below. Check the Trails and Lift Report in the morning for the most up-to-date info before you head out. If this is your first visit to Cannon Mountain, please read the info below and the additional information on our Know Before You Go page.
BE THE REASON FOR THE SEASON - PLEASE READ
Your cooperation will help keep the lifts running & lodges OPEN!
If you need to take a break in the lodges to warm up PLEASE be diligent about wearing your face mask properly and staying socially distanced from people outside of your family or travel party. General rule of thumb - even though we are monitoring lodge capacity at the doors, please note that if the tables & chairs are full, the building is full and you should find another area to warm up or wait until there is space available. Please do not move tables or chairs as they are spaced to maintain 6' social distancing and limit lodge capacity. We appreciate your cooperation and help in keeping our Cannon community safe and the mountain open!
UPHILL TRAFFIC (SKINNING)
The Skinning Route is expected to be OPEN on 2/25.
NO Skinning without a lift ticket or season pass which must be visible at all times. Do not start travel uphill after 3:00pm. Season Pass or Daily Lift Ticket required. Uphill traffic allowed on designated route only. Please stay single file and as close to the edge of the trail as possible. We strongly recommend wearing brighter colored clothing for visibility purposes. See details.
LIFT TICKETS - SOLD OUT for Saturday, 2/27.
